The living area and the bedroom offer separate entries to the deck, but the deck itself serves as one big continuous porch offering two new (2018) POLYWOOD® Adirondack chairs and love seat, a new POLYWOOD® table with 4 PVC chairs, and a PVC lounge. This pristine condominium is conveniently located on the first floor with direct access to the beach. You can sit on the porch and listen to the waves gently crash against the shore as you watch the shrimp boats go by. This condominium is ideal for a single or a couple, but can easily accommodate a family of 4. It has charming accessories and quality you need is here, but it is NOT overly crowded with either furnishings or decorative items. You will have plenty of room. Decorated throughout in a relaxing color palate, the soft coastal tones of aqua and sandy beige are punctuated with watery blues and bright whites creating a tranquil space filled with light from the two sets of sliding doors. The bedroom features a king-sized bed with a brand new (2018) mattress for your comfort, and offers a full en suite bath. The bedroom has direct access to the porch and a lovely view across the dunes to the ocean. The living room with sleeper sofa features a large wall mounted television for your entertainment and, like the bedroom, the living area opens directly onto the porch and the beautiful ocean view. For convenience, a half bath is located just off the living area. Granite countertops beautifully accent the sandy-colored kitchen cabinetry and there is a full sized washer dryer in the kitchen for your convenience. You'll enjoy preparing snacks and meals in the renovated can stand at the sink and look straight through the glass doors to the dunes! Harbor Island offers activities for the whole family. You can swim in the uncrowded pool or ocean, play tennis or sand volleyball at the club house. Fish in the surf or charter a boat and fishing guide at nearby marinas. Try your hand at crabbing. Take a nature walks and watch the seabirds on the beach or see hundreds of nesting egrets and herons, as a lonely alligator lies silently in a green lagoon. Many guests enjoy day trips to nearby Beaufort (15 miles) for boutique shopping, gallery hopping, and delicious food. Treat yourself to a carriage ride through the historic district where stately southern homes share space with grand old live oaks dripping Spanish moss from their limbs. If you like golf, you can play at one of the many beautiful courses in the surrounding area. The beauty of the low country has been the backdrop for many movies including The Big Chill, The Great Santini, The Prince of Tides, and Forest Gump. If you are looking for glitz and glamor, large crowds and noise, traffic jams, and crowded beaches, Harbor Island is not for you.
