Just steps to the beachwalk, this one bedroom one and a half bath villa is located in Cedar Reef building E on Beautiful, natural, Harbor Island. This condominium villa has been completely repainted and offers all the comforts of home, including cable television in both the living area and the bedroom along with WiFi.!

The spacious living area includes a queen sized sleeper sofa and loveseat with side tables, cable TV with DVD player and opens onto a large deck. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware and tableware to meet all your cooking needs. A large fridge provides ample room for your groceries and a full sized washing machine and dryer make it a breeze to wash out sandy bathing suits and dry damp beach towels!

The master bedroom features a queen size bed, large window for ample natural light, plenty of storage, a ceiling fan, and cable television. When it’s time to head for the ocean, you can step right off the back deck which is steps away to the beach boardwalk! The pool is just steps from your back deck, or stroll over to the Harbor Island Beach and Tennis Club to enjoy an Olympic sized pool overlooking the marshes of the Harbor River. The Club also offers tennis courts, a fitness center, kiddie pool, sand volleyball and more!

Harbor Island offers a quiet setting with 2.5 miles of natural beach with a gentle slope. Wrapped by the Harbor River, Saint Helena Sound, the Atlantic Ocean, and Johnson’s Creek, the vistas are always changing. Designated an Audubon Important Bird Area, Harbor Island is home and host to a myriad of bird life including nesting egrets in the lagoon areas where you can sometimes glimpse a gator!

Fishing is allowed from the beach, and the Island has a crabbing dock. Right across the Harbor River Bridge, Gay Seafood brings in fresh fish and shrimp. If you’d rather have the cooking done for you, The Shrimp Shack is just across the street from Gay’s. A long local tradition, it serves up mainly fried fresh seafood and simple fare available for takeout or to eat there on the picnic tables!

Less than a quarter mile in the other direction is another long established casual restaurant, Johnson’s Creek Tavern, known locally as JCT. A combination bar and restaurant, you will find people of every age there enjoying meals or drinks indoors or on the outside decks, or listening to the live music occasionally offered. Many other restaurant options ranging from fast food to fine dining are available on nearby Saint Helena Island, Ladys Island, and in Beaufort!

Beaufort itself is 14 miles from Harbor Island (you will pass right through on your way to the Island). A charming historic town, you can easily spend a day or two just exploring the downtown historic and the Bay Street area shopping district, strolling the waterfront park that stretches along the Intracoastal Waterway, browsing art galleries and taking in a horse and carriage ride or perhaps a dolphin watching cruise on the Beaufort River!

On our barrier islands, the tides are semi-diurnal, which means that our shoreline experiences two almost equal high tides and two low tides each day. At high tide, the water can swell to an average of 7-9 foot tides. At low tide, you may find that you walk out about 300 yards to get to the ocean. The beach also changes from month to month and year to year. Due to the shallow grade of our beaches, there are very little waves to speak of on our beaches, which is great for little ones. For the folks in your party that want to body surf, we have Hunting island State park open 7 days/week!

Rates effective 11/01/2017: day pass $11.00; 1-5 night pass $11.00 PER NIGHT; 6-7 nights $70.00; 8-14 nights $80.00; 15-21 nights $85.00; 22-30 $90.00; 31-90 nights $100.00; 91-364 nights $115. Starter supplies (1-3 nights) provided of paper towels, dish and dishwasher detergent, trash bags, toilet tissue, hand and bath soap.

*Community pools are typically open from April 1 through October 31. Properties are continuously upgraded to provide our guests with an enjoyable vacation experience.
